GUI or JASS

so which one u use and post why i use gui im to lazy to learn jass plus gui is jsut straight forward

I use GUI, I don't really want to use JASS. It looks complicated and I don't want to get too advanced at mapmaking (Well, probably not that much complicated. And i'm too lazy to learn it, when I started HTML/C++ I got bored to shit (I didn't do much of C++ through Razz

). Probably when SC2 comes out, Lots might quit WCIII

I'm lazy to learn JASS, and generally you can do what you need to with GUI so it works for me.

GUI = Guided User Interface
JASS = I never bothered to find out.

Thanks hamama although i dont think anyone knows what jass is for some reason. Im leaning towards the fact is that everyone is saying..cant be bothered learning jass lol.

Ah okay yea because i can make websites and programes but ive never tried to make a wc3 game. i should probably try sometime lol.

GUI will do you fine.

JASS is if you're planning to make more advance, complicated maps. JASS >IS< better, as it lets you do more things than GUI.

Im going with GUI because its what I have used lately, not saying that I don't use jass, I can use it and do use it, just prefer to use GUI because I learnt it first and is much easier to manipulate.

Jass is just a GUI short-cut..... it's simpler and doesn't include clicking the same things over and over again.

GUI is more prone to lag tho.

Jass or GUI is just what type of map you're doing. If it's complex and needs many different triggers for 1-2 effects (Using GUI) then Jass works better. If it's the other way round, GUI works better.

I have no idea how to do Jass so for me it's GUI.

GUI = Graphical User Interface
JASS = Custom text in WC Trigger Editor
